2025 EDC
The "clean up my cable bag" exercise lands with a small 355g package for all my charging needs.
It's been a few years since I overhauled my Everyday Carry (EDC) kit that is in my laptop bag.
The 2025 goal was to charge any device, get smaller and more durable cables, and make it incredibly light. Now that I can use USB-C for all my charging needs across all devices, I went thin with the chargers and added a few adapters to connect anything I would have with me on a typical workday.
I was surprised how much battery and charging tech has advanced, notably USB-C for everything. I refined it with a super-thin charger, a tiny 10k battery, and a few adapters. I can charge the phone, the laptop, the iPad, the Apple Watch, AirPod Pros, etc., in a tiny 3.5"x5.5" bag that only weighs 355g.
