# 2025 EDC

It's been [a few years](https://makoism.com/2021-edc/) since I overhauled my **Everyday Carry (EDC)** kit that is in my laptop bag. 

The 2025 goal was to charge any device, get smaller and more durable cables, and make it incredibly light. Now that I can use USB-C for all my charging needs across all devices, I went thin with the chargers and added a few adapters to connect anything I would have with me on a typical workday.

The 2025 "Micro" EDC Kit

I was surprised how much battery and charging tech has advanced, notably USB-C for everything. I refined it with a super-thin charger, a tiny 10k battery, and a few adapters. I can charge the phone, the laptop, the iPad, the Apple Watch, AirPod Pros, etc., in a tiny 3.5"x5.5" bag that **only weighs 355g**.
